Mudragada Padmanabham and Giri joins YSR Congress

Veteran Kapu leader and former Minister of AP Mudragada Padmanabham has today joined the YSR Congress party as announced earlier. At first, Mudragada thought to reach the Tadepalli office by a rally but later changed his decision. Without any hungama, Mudragada Padmanabham along with his son Giri reached the Chief Minister’s camp office in Tadepalli and joined the party.

Mudragada Padmanabham has fighting for the justice of Kapus for several years. He leads numerous movements during the TDP regime of 2014-19. Several cases were booked against Padmanabham during TDP’s rule.

However, immediately after the YSR Congress came into power, the government withdrew all the cases. Mudragada Padmanabham had a strong influence among Kapus in the Godavari districts. It should be a huge plus point for the YSR Congress to defend the Pawan Kalyan’s wave.

Mudragada earlier planned to join Jana Sena. He waited for Pawan Kalyan to reach his residence but that didn’t happen. Hurt with this, Mudragada Padmanabham announced joining the YSR Congress.
