Pendyala Krishna Rao is no more

Former MLA of East Godavari district Kovvur and YCP leader Pendyala Venkata Krishna Rao (Krishna Babu) passed away due to illness. He was suffering from illness for some time and breathed his last today while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad. Doctors and family members confirmed that Krishna Babu breathed his last today early morning.

Krishna Babu’s body was taken to his native village Dommeru by the family members. The funeral is likely to take place on Wednesday. Krishna Rao was a seasoned politician who won five times as MLA from TDP. Pendyala Venkata Krishnarao and his brother Achibabu ruled the politics of four constituencies in West Godavari district for three decades. They are nephews of former MLA and late eminent industrialist Mullapudi Harishchandra Prasad.

Krishna Babu who won consecutive victories since NTR launched TDP in 1983 till 1999 got a majority of 58 thousand votes in general elections once.
