Bollywood media circles started to speculate the news that Kiara Advani is going to play a crucial role in Salaar 2. It is said that she will also be seen in a special song in the movie. However, the news turns out to be false. There will be no Kiara Advani in Salaar 2 and Shruti Haasan is going to play the female lead in Salaar 2 as well.

The regular shooting of Salaar 2 is expected to start in June this year. Currently, the final preparations for the script work are happening. The pre-production works have kickstarted as well. Prashant Neel is the director of the movie and Hombale Films is the production house. Salaar 2 is titled Salaar : Shouryanga Parvam.

Salaar 2 is scheduled for release during the second half of 2025. Kiara Advani on the other hand is busy with multiple projects. She will be next seen in Ram Charan’s Game Changer. Along with it, she has signed multiple projects like Hrithik Roshan – NTR’s War 3, and Ranveer Singh’s Don 3.
