Will Jacks record century powers RCB to easy win

Royal Challengers Bangalore have found the rhythm very late in this edition of IPL. They were on the brink of elimination and only some wonders could bail them out. But one thing’s for sure. After losing six matches on the trot, they have turned the tides and now won two on the bounce.

Royal Challengers Bangalore humbled Gujarat Titans at Ahmedabad. RCB chased down the total of 201 in just 16 overs which is the fastest ever chase of a 200+ total in the history of IPL. They did it by losing only one wicket. RCB batter Will Jacks scored a superb century by completing it in just 41 balls. The ever-reliable Virat Kohli was not out by scoring 70 in 44 balls. Almost all the bowlers of GT were taken to the cleaners.

Mohit Sharma who registered the expensive figures in IPL, has given away 41 runs in just 2 overs. Earlier, Gujarat Titans took time to move out of the blocks. A superb partnership between Sai Suharshan and Shahrukh Khan set things straight but they were easily 20-30 runs short. Gujarat Titans have now lost two on the trot and are placed seventh in the points table.
