new COVID cases in India
The COVID cases are on the rise in India. Although not alarming the COVID cases kept increasing with each passing day. India logged 640 fresh COVID cases in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases climbed to 2,997 from 2,669 reveals the Union Health Ministry data.
At 8 AM the data reveals that a fatality has been reported in Kerala. The death toll climbed to 5,33,328 in the country while the total COVID cases stands at 4,50,07,212. A total of 4,44,70,887 have been recovered from the infection. The total recovery rate stands at 98.81 percent and the fatality rate is almost 1.19 percent.
The Ministry’s website has also revealed that 220.67 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered so far.
