England dominates day 2 with Bazball approach

England dominates day 2 with Bazball approach

The third test between India and England is going well. The two sides are fighting with all their strengths. India in their first innings was all out for 445. Centuries of Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja, and useful contributions from Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Ashwin, and Bumrah took the score close to 450. Mark Wood picked up four wickets in the inning. In reply, England had an extraordinary start once again. Their bazball approach made the game interesting.

Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett scored more than 60 in the first 10 overs and the momentum continued. Crawley was trapped by Ashwin with a leg-sidish ball. This was his 500th wicket. Ashwin is the 9th overall to achieve the milestone and only the second Indian bowler to do so. He became the second quickest in terms of innings and balls.

Ollie Pope batted fluently for his 39 but Siraj trapped him LBW. Ben Duckett on the other hand batted with ultra-positive intent. He maintained a strike rate of more than 100 and scored a century as well. England by the time of stumps scored 207 for the loss of 2 wickets.
