Here is the rare moment of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on the stage of his swearing-in ceremony. NTR was a force to reckon with whether it be films or politics. He entered politics by establishing the Telugu Desam Party in the year 1982. He became the Chief Minister for the first time in the year 1983.
The above picture is of 1985 when NTR was re-elected for a second term. We can see legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao garlanding NTR and there were smiles all over. This picture was taken on March 9th, 1985 when Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao became the Chief Minister of the state for the second time.
This was also the first time NTR ruled the state for a full 5 year term. This picture of NTR being honored is doing rounds in social media these days where the elections in the state were completed and the TDP, JSP, and BJP alliance is all set to take the reigns.
