The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat made the nation turn its head towards it. On the first day of the celebrations, the Khan trio Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan enthralled the audiences by dancing to the super hit number Naatu Naatu from RRR.

Neeta Ambani present on the stage reminded the trio that RRR star Ram Charan was present at the venue. All three stars called Ram Charan on stage. SRK took the lead and repeatedly called Charan. Addressing him SRK made some comments like, “Idly, Wada…” which didn’t sit well with many belonging to South India.

Upasana’s makeup artist Zeba Hassan felt disrespect to Ram Charan with the remarks. She posted that she left the venue as soon as she heard the comments. Netizens are sharing their opinions on the social media platform regarding this issue and they have opined that it’s high time Bollywood stops normalizing calling Idly and Wada referring to South Indians.
