Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari plays for the Andhra team in the Ranji trophy but the cricketer has decided not to play for Andhra again. Internal politics in the association is said to be the reason for that. In a long post, Hanuma Vihari explains the reason behind his decision.
The cricketer after a match scolded the 17th player of the squad and that player happened to be the son of a politician. Vihari said that the association wanted to resign his captaincy after the incident as the politician asked. Although the decision, Hanuma Vihari wanted to continue playing the season.
Hanuma Vihari felt that he lost his self-respect after he was asked to step down after what he did for the team. “I felt humiliated and embarrassed,” said Hanuma Vihari. He continued, “I’ve decided I will never play for Andhra where I lost my self-respect. I love the way we’re growing every season but the association doesn’t want us to grow.”
