Ex-HMDA director Shiva Balakrishna taken into custody by ACB; details inside
The Anti Corruption Bureau officials today arrested Ex-HMDA director, Rera Secretary Shiva Balakrishna after conducting searches on him and his properties for around 24 hours. The shocking thing here is that the ACB officials recognized properties worth the market value of Rs. 300 Crores. ACB also registers a case of a disproportionate asset to known sources of income.
The anti-corruption agency reportedly seized Rs 84 lakh cash, 2 kg gold, and 5.5 kg of silver, and identified immovable properties including three villas, 3 flats, and 90 acres of agricultural land.
The news is that the ACB officials conducted searches at 17 places and identified the above-stated properties. He was arrested now and arrangements are being made to produce him before the court.
