Shoaib Bashir included in playing XI for second test
As for the first test, England has also named their playing XI well in advance for the second test. For the second test, England made two changes to the playing XI. England spinner Jack Leach was not included in the playing XI due to injury and off-spinner Shoaib Bashir replaces him. Also, Mark Wood has been replaced by the veteran James Anderson.
This test will be crucial for India as the home side hasn’t lost back-to-back tests since 2012. India will miss the services of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, Virat Kohli will not be playing the second test either. There will be a chance for the debutants Sarfaraz Khan and Rajat Patidar.
