Chandragiri TDP candidate Pulivarthi Nani attacked

YSR Congress activists attacked the vehicle of Chandragiri TDP MLA candidate Pulivarthi Nani. The incident happened when Nani was returning after checking the strong room at Padmavathi Women’s University. TDP leaders alleged that the goons were sent by Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy. Nadavaluru village sarpanch Ganapathi led the attack with some other YCP activists, says the opposition party.

Immediately after the attack, TDP activists came in large numbers and looked out the surroundings and they found a vehicle parked alongside the road. A few deadly weapons along with YCP flags were found in the vehicle. In the rage, the TDP activists destroyed the vehicle raising slogans against the YSRCP.

A large number of TDP activists reached the Padmavati University and held a protest. The police tried to clear the area. Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh condemned the attack. He termed the act as a cowardice. He demanded an action should be taken against the attackers.
