India’s updated squad for the fifth test

Team India has updated the squad for the fifth and final test that will be played in Dharamshala starting March 7th. Jasprit Bumrah who was rested for the fourth test has rejoined the squad and is likely to feature in the playing XI. He has been in superb form. Mukesh Kumar, Siraj, and Akash Deep accompany him in the pace department.

KL Rahul who has been missing the action after the first test will miss the final test as well. He has been seeing some stiffness following his surgery for the quadriceps injury. He was sent to London for expert opinion.

Washington Sundar has been released from the squad and he was asked to play the Ranji Trophy semifinal fixture that will start on March 2nd between Tamil Nadu and Mumbai. If necessary, he will be asked to rejoin the squad.
