BRS and BSP enters alliance ahead of Lok Sabha elections
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have decided to have an alliance ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. The BRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao had a meeting with BSP state President RS Praveen Kumar at his residence in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. After the meeting, the formal announcement regarding the alliance came out. The seat allotment for the Parliament elections has not been revealed yet.
On this note, it is already known that the BRS party has announced its first list of MP candidates for the elections. Out of the 17, four seats have been announced. KCR after the meeting revealed that he hasn’t spoken with Mayawati yet and the announcement regarding the seats will be announced tomorrow.
RS Praveen Kumar who came third when contested from the Sirpur constituency in the assembly elections is expected to contest from Nagarkurnool MP seat in the upcoming elections. It is surprising to see the alliance as Praveen Kumar was highly critical of BRS and KCR just three months back and now they have joined hands.
