It is very well known that Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant had an unfortunate road accident which was a major one where he fortunately escaped death. After the accident, his car caught fire and only a few seconds before that he was rescued outside by the people who witnessed the accident. The accident happened on December 30th, 2022.
Since then Rishabh Pant has been in the recovery process and missed more than 15 months of cricket. Rishabh Pant has recovered in a quicker time than expected and now here is a massive update regarding his fitness. BCCI has declared him fit and he is set to play in the Indian Premier League 2024.
In a statement, BCCI stated, “After undergoing an extensive 14-month rehab and recovery process, following a life-threatening road mishap on December 30th, 2022, Rishabh Pant has now been declared fit as a wicket-keeper batter for the upcoming TATA IPL 2024.”
Rishabh Pant is representing Delhi Capitals and we have to wait and see whether he can keep the wickets as well.
