The first golden gate has been installed in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir on Tuesday. A picture of the gate has been released and turned viral on social media within minutes. The picture has two Elephants facing each other in the middle of the panel of the golden door. In the upper part of the door, a palace can be seen and two servants stand with folded hands. On the other hand, there are beautiful artworks inscribed on the four corners of the door.
Within the next three days, As many as 13 golden doors, including the large size gate of the sanctum sanctorum would be installed in the temple. Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust which is assigned the duty of overseeing the temple construction shared pictures of the nighttime illumination of the temple.
The Ram Mandir has been constructed in the traditional Nagara style. The three-storied shrine has the dimensions of 380 ft in length (east-west direction), 250 ft in width, and 161 ft in height. The temple has 392 pillars and 44 doors in total.
