The elections Hungama in Andhra Pradesh was concluded. After 2 days of the elections, The Election Commission announced the final polling percentage. A record polling happened in the state. This conclusion was reached after comparing the votes cast in the EVMs with the 17A register. Votes recorded in EVMs and postal ballot votes were combined and polling was recorded at 81.76 percent. An average of 80.07 percent polling was recorded in all the legislative constituencies across the state, while the postal ballot was recorded at 1.10 percent.
The Election Commission of the state Mukesh Kumar Meena declared that the elections in Andhra Pradesh are said to be the record when compared to the four phases of the elections. The Highest polling was recorded in Prakasam district at 87.09, followed by Palnadu district at 85.65, Bapatla district at 84.98 and Krishna district at 84.05 percent.
The Election Commission said that 83.91 percent of polling was recorded in the Konaseema district, 83.84 percent in the Anakapalli district, and 83.55 percent in the Eluru district. The lowest was recorded in Visakhapatnam district at 68.63 percent. 90.91 percent of polling has been recorded in the Darshi constituency of Prakasam district which was a record in itself.
Tirupati constituency recorded the lowest percentage of 63.32 percent, 87.06 percent polling was recorded for the Ongole Parliament and 71.11 percent polling was recorded for Visakhapatnam.
