20 years of Arya special
Icon Star Allu Arjun had many blockbusters in his career but Arya would always be special. It was his first major success and the film completed 20 years yesterday. The film’s unit celebrated 20 years of the film journey yesterday at an event.
Sharing their experiences director Sukumar revealed how Allu Arjun got into Arya. First Ravi Teja and then Prabhas were the choices of Arya. Sukumar even narrated scripts to them. However, Sukumar felt that either of the duo would not fit into the character.
Now, while Dil show was being premiered to actor Tarun, Sukumar, and Dil Raju were having a discussion about Arya, and then Allu Arjun came out of his car and seeing his energy Sukumar set his eyes on him for Arya. Though initially hesitant Dil Raju was convinced.
However, after Allu Aravind entered the project, the troubles started as he wasn’t fully convinced with the script. Sukumar once in frustration called Dil Raju and said that he would leave Kakinada and do the lecturer job. It’s easier for him than narrating the same script again and again.
After months of hard work and dedication, Arya finally went on the floors and the rest is history.
