Remember Darshanam Moghulaiah – The folk singer who brought the usage of the musical instrument Kinnera in today’s world. He was awarded the Indian government honor Padma Shri in the year 2022. It is well known that the Padma Awards will be presented to the people who has done tremendous service in their respective fields.

However, the plight of this Padma Awardee was moving everyone who came across the news. Darshanam Moghulaiah needs Rs. 7,000 as medical assistance every month. The government of Telangana announced Rs. 10,000 as a special allowance every month but the assistance has been stopped for unknown reasons.  The house plot announced for him has been put on hold as well.

To meet his daily needs, Darshanam Moghulaiah had no option but to turn a daily wager. He was seen working at a construction site near Hyderabad. He was shot to fame recently when he worked for the movie Bheemla Nayak starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.
