Director Mahi V Raghav, after making a successful film like Yatra is back with the sequel. Titled Yatra 2, the film showcases the rise of YS Jagan. The film discusses the political situation in the state after the sudden demise of then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The teaser of Yatra 2 was released today.

The film showcases the padayatra of YS Jagan, and the strategies of the opposition parties to suppress YS Jagan’s popularity. The jail episode of the current Chief Minister of AP. Yatra 2 showcases the rise of YS Jagan till the time he became CM.

Firstly, the production of Yatra 2 is so grand. The dialogues are so powerful. It will be a feast for the YSR fans. Malayalam Star Mammootty will be seen in a special cameo in this movie. Jeeva plays the role of YS Jagan. Mahesh Manjrekar plays a role similar to that of Chandrababu Naidu. There are the roles of Sonia Gandhi and others in the movie. Santosh Narayanan composed the music. Yatra 2 is scheduled for a February 8th release.
