Detroit Telugu Association’s grand Diwali event

Detroit Telugu Association (DTA) celebrated Diwali with so much enthusiasm. A large number of NRIs attended the ceremony held at the local Hindu temple in Canton. DTA President Kiran Duggirala wished Diwali to all the attendees and the programs of DTA were explained in the event.

Artists entertained the public with their cultural performances. Many people who have served the community have been honored with awards. The 2023 DTA Vadlamudi Venkataratnam Award was presented to Sudhir Bachu. The DTA Community Service Award was given to Kalyani Mantripragada, and Srinivasa Chittalur, the DTA Community Leadership Award was presented to Vinod Kukunur, DTA Community Partnership Award was given to Chenchureddy Tadi and Sunil Marri.

The songs sung by singer Sumangali, singer Srikanth Lanka, and Sai Tarang Vandemataram entertained everyone. TANA Board Chairman Bandla Hanumaiah, former TANA President Nadella Gangadhar, Raghavendra Chaudhary from DTLC, and others participated in the program. Neelima Manne, Sunil Pantra, and Team Naren Kodali acted as presenters for this ceremony. DTA President-Elect Subrata Gaddam, Secretary Raja Thottempudi, Treasurer Praneet Vellore, Joint Treasurer Swapna Illendula, and others helped the event to become a grand success.
