Supreme Court posts Fibernet case to January 17th

The apex court has today heard the arguments regarding the AP Fibernet case involving Nara Chandrababu Naidu and top TDP leaders. The court has adjourned the case to January 17th and has directed both the parties, the state government, and Nara Chandrababu Naidu not to talk in public about the case. The court ordered to maintain the status quo in the case.

The advocates from the CID updated the court that Mr. Naidu was speaking about the case in public. The counsel said that the TDP Chief wanted to gain sympathy out of the case and wanted the court to restrict him from speaking about the case in public.

Siddharth Luthra, advocate from CBN stated to the court that it was CID who went on speaking about the case all over the nation and holding press meets but not CBN. He submitted the proof that the CID chief held press conferences in New Delhi and Hyderabad. He requested the same as CID to the court and then the apex court ordered both the parties not to talk about it in public.
