Telangana Begins Deportation of Pakistani Nationals Following MHA Directive

In response to directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) following the Pahalgam terror attack, the Telangana police have initiated the deportation process for 33 Pakistani nationals residing in the State.

Telangana DGP Jitender issued an advisory on April 25 implementing the Centre’s orders. As per the advisory, all regular visas issued to Pakistani citizens will be cancelled starting April 27. However, medical visas will remain valid until April 29, while Long-Term Visas (LTVs), diplomatic, and official visas are exempt from the suspension.
