Eid Milan Celebrated in Dallas, Promoting Unity and Humanity
An Eid Milan event was held in Irving, Dallas, on Saturday, sending a strong message of Muslim solidarity, peace, and human values. Organized under the coordination of Naseem Shaik and supported by the North America Andhra Muslim Association (AMANA), the event brought together members of Muslim, Hindu, and Christian communities.
Chief guest Dr. Chandrasekhar Pemmasani, Union Minister for Rural Development and Communications, conveyed Eid-ul-Fitr greetings and highlighted Ramadan as a time to reflect on humanity, not just hunger. He also acknowledged the importance of addressing issues faced by the Muslim community.
Naseem Shaik said AMANA was founded to unite Andhra Muslim families across North America and support service initiatives in Andhra Pradesh. The event saw participation from several prominent community members.
