Rajahmundry MP Margani Bharat Ram is now looking to contest as an MLA. Last time, YSRCP won 22 out of the 25 MP constituencies, and this time they want to go three places further. However, many YSRCP MPs are not showing interest in contesting again as MPs. They are trying for an MLA ticket and Margani Bharat Ram is no different.

Margani Bharat Ram recently condemned the rumors that he is going to contest from the Nidadavole assembly constituency. He said that the final decision lies with YS Jagan. I will contest as an MP or MLA from Rajahmundry constituency, he said.

On the other hand, YS Jagan is now keen to field noted actor Ali for the Rajahmundry MP seat, reveals the sources. On the other hand, the BJP is likely to make Jayaprada contest from the same constituency as the MP.
