Is Rameshwaram Cafe blast a terrorist attack?

Siddharamaiah gives details of Rameshwaram cafe blast

It is very well known that an explosion took place at the popular Rameshwaram Cafe in the White Field area leaving 8 people injured. Fortunately, there were no casualties and the injured people were not severely critical. The blast is said to have occurred at 1 PM. Initially, there were no clues about the form of the blast but after viewing multiple CCTV footage it was found out that the blast happened from a bag.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has reviewed the situation and updated the details of the explosion. He has confirmed that the blast happened because of an unidentified bag placed on the premises. He said that an unidentified person brought in a bag and placed it at the location. It’s reported to be an IED. However, further investigation is ongoing and the results are awaited.

When the Chief Minister was asked whether it was a terrorist attack, he clarified, “We don’t know yet. The investigation is ongoing.”
