Maheeder Reddy decides to quit YSR Congress

The exits of the MLAs and MPs from the ruling YSR Congress party have been continuing at a rapid pace and it is turning out to be a worrying factor. YS Jagan’s plans to reshuffle the candidates aren’t yielding any positive results so far. The MLAs and MPs who have been hurt by not getting the chance are taking the alternate route.

The latest to quit the party is Kandukur sitting MLA Maheeder Reddy. The leader has today met TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh and discussed his future in politics. He is all set to join the Telugu Desam Party, which is what the close sources are suggesting. Maheeder Reddy is a long-time loyalist of YS Jagan and losing him is a big blow.

Also, this comes after Satyavedu MLA Adimulam has also decided to join TDP after meeting Nara Lokesh. Telugu Desam Party is currently finalizing its candidates and as per the latest update, the first list of candidates will be out very soon.
